Illustrated story of this Sad Elephant is clearly a fiction of great empathy
There was a big elephant who led a miserable life. On the day it was born, its mother dies. The father elephant puts the blame on it and left it alone. It had a big, gigantic body that it couldn’t fit into anything or anywhere. Whenever it moved, the movement caused some destruction. It also blamed as a pervert for its unwilling piping into women’s blouses. In the end, it died, rather,was killed by the human police for obvious reasons, while it mistakenly considered the siren of the police vans a sweet little music. Sad, eh? Also metaphorically very similar to the life of some people who dreams an exceptional dream. This is the story which received some magnificent illustration treatment by the designer Pieter van den Heuvel. So, let’s get on to the story.
